On the occasion of Totentanz

Totentanz at Kulturkirche Stralsund, 2023: A Video tour of the exhibition

As their main event for 2023, Kulturkirche St. Jakobi, Stralsund, was showing my cycle of works „Totentanz“ from May 19 through July 31, and again from October 10–25. Almost 20,000 visitors from all over Germany and beyond came to see the exhibition, consisting of 41 oil paintings and 14 sculptures. “An overwhelming resonance,” Gerd Franz Triebenecker, director of Kulturkirche St. Jakobi, remarked in his speech during the finissage, “way beyond our expectations”.

In case you were unable to see the exhibition, here's a video tour, showing how well the historical venue and my works interacted.
